About the course

Court interpreters are not tested on what they know in theory. They are tested in real time, in front of a judge, with someone's rights depending on every word they render. This course covers the complete language of a criminal case from the interpreter's perspective, from the moment of arrest through post-conviction appeals. Every term is taught in legal context, with downloadable glossary PDFs, active recall exercises, and scenario-based assignments designed to build the kind of vocabulary that holds up under courtroom pressure. Self-paced, language-neutral, and built for interpreters of all spoken languages and ASL. No prerequisites required. Upon passing the final assessment with a score of 80% or higher, you will receive your certificate of completion immediately. CE credit applications have been submitted to multiple state credentialing bodies. Eligibility by state will be updated as approvals are received.
